Jeroen van Inkel

A downtempo radio experience that stands apart, and slots effortlessly into a dance-driven schedule.

Dreamscape is not your average chill show. It takes the listener into a velvet-soft, almost healing soundscape woven from natural ambience and the reflections of remarkable people. Everything is produced into a single, seamless atmosphere and hosted with quiet, understated warmth by Jeroen van Inkel. It closes, every time, on a danceable, uplifting track that lifts the listener back up.

The musical palette is broad but deliberate:

• Ambient 2.0 in the vein of Röyksopp and Moby
• Deep house like Nora En Pure
• Classical crossover from Max Richter, Hans Zimmer and Judah Earl
• Electronica such as Lamb and Boards of Canada
• Dreampop like Talk Talk and Air
• Trip-hop from Portishead and Massive Attack

Who is Jeroen van Inkel?
For international audiences: Jeroen is one of the most recognisable voices in Dutch radio, with a career spanning more than four decades. He earned his stripes at the legendary pirate station Radio Decibel in the early 1980s, and went on to co-host one of the Netherlands’ most iconic radio shows alongside Adam Curry, who would later become a globally known MTV VJ and the „Podfather” of podcasting. Over the years Jeroen has interviewed global icons including Mick Jagger, Paul McCartney and Whitney Houston. Today he broadcasts on NPO Radio 2, one of the country’s most-listened-to stations. Dreamscape is his passion project, and it’s already reaching listeners in the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain and Bonaire.
